What We Do

Hagley Community Association (HCA) plays an active role in the life of our village.
Here’s a summary of what we do:

  • Manage the Community Centre, which includes:

    • Maintaining the building, gardens, and equipment

    • Managing room bookings and the events calendar

    • Issuing invoices and handling payments

    • Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation

    • Managing the Association’s accounts

  • Publish the Village News, which involves:

    • Gathering and sorting articles and notices received by post and email

    • Editing and preparing the content for publication

    • Managing advertising and revenue

    • Organising the distribution of printed copies

    • Hosting a “Wine and Mince Pies” celebration at Christmas to thank our distributors

  • Meet Monthly to manage ongoing matters:

    • Providing support and discussion for all members

    • Keeping accurate meeting minutes

    • Holding an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year

Hagley Community Association (HCA) is a registered charity (No. 523146). Our patron is The Viscount Cobham.
HCA promotes the wellbeing of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hagley—without distinction of gender, politics, religion, or opinion—by bringing together local authorities, voluntary organisations, and residents in a shared effort to advance education and provide facilities for recreation and leisure in the interests of social welfare.
