The Community Centre is a popular local venue for meetings, events and parties. Set on the north side of the park, you access the Community Centre car park through the barrier at the rear of the village car park.The Centre has a large hall with a stage and wooden dance floor, a meeting room, fully equipped kitchen and toilets.
The Hall measures 17.2 metres by 9.5 metres and is 4.1 metres high (big enough for a normal sized bouncy castle). The Hall has tables and chairs to seat 215 guests, while 175 guests are the maximum number allowed at dances and discos.
At the end of The Hall is a stage area accessed from steps just inside the rear door to The Centre. The stage measures 9.5 metres wide and 9.75 metres deep.The Centre’s kitchen is equipped to cope with most light catering functions and has a large serving hatch. You will only need to supply your own cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The hall can be hired on an hourly basis, minimum for one hour.
