All the best journeys come in many parts and usually have a relaxing break in between. Take a cruise for example, a Nile cruise.
Now, we know that a certain Nile cruise has been going on for a few years. After all, it started in 1937 with a novel called “Death on the Nile.” It sailed on for a while, was turned into a film in 1978, an episode in the Poirot series in 2004 and then another film in 2022.
Most importantly for us, as a slight diversion from the main journey, Agatha Christie turned her novel into a play in 1944 – and that very vessel came to birth in Hagley at the beginning of this month. Thank you all who came aboard – but that journey doesn’t end there.
There is one final berth, at Bank Street Methodist Church Hall in Brierley Hill on March 20th - 22nd, so of you missed the first trip or fancy another, pop along there. Tickets are available on 01384 270228, www.wordsleyamdram.co.uk, or on email wordsleyamdram@outlook.com so, thank you Hagley for allowing us to give the first performances in our Centenary year for you.
Watch us, follow us, and see what we have for you next on our very special year.
