Current news from Hagley Camera Club
We are one of the smaller, more relaxed camera clubs welcoming everyone from beginner to seasoned enthusiast to take part in a varied program of interesting photography activities including; guest speakers, studio, and practical nights (still life and models), location shoots, club outings, member presentations, competitions (internally and against other clubs), tuition and appraisal evenings, workshops and much more.
Our diary for March starts on 5th with our first internal print competition of the year. We have yet to decide what our topic for 12th will be but most likely will involve some practical work to help members keep their camera skills up to date. Check our website for more information. On 19th we are being ‘virtually’ visited by our guest speaker, Kim Walton who is presenting his photography of the beautiful Lofoten Islands, when members can come together at our venue for the evening or view it on-line at home. The 26th ends our current season with the Annual General Meeting where we will both plan and elect officials for the year ahead. Followed by Easter Week there is no meeting on 2nd April and we kick off the new season on 9th April (topic details to follow).
