Hope can sometimes be taken as wishy washy like making a wish, but the Bible talks of a certain HOPE that came into the world with the birth of Jesus, saying: John 1:5 ‘The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.’ It can be difficult to be hopeful in dark times when life is difficult, but I love this quote from The best Exotic Marigold Hotel: ‘Everything will be all right in the end…

My Wife Jacqui and I are starting an Alpha course running for 10 weeks from the 18th of September.
It will be at the Hagley Community Centre 6.30pm – 8pm.
The Alpha course is a zero commitment, no follow up relaxed evening to eat food, meet new people while discussing the deeper meanings of life.
You will learn the basics of the Christian faith and then in a totally non-judgmental environment talk and question what does and doesn''t make sense.
