Parish Council Opening Hours Monday to Thursday 9.00a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
As we progress through 2024, we would like to recap on some of the work that Hagley Parish Council contributes towards looking after the interests of Hagley and you, our residents. We can’t list everything in this article as the space is limited, so please use our website as a main point of reference. Sometimes, it’s easy to forget what a great community we have and without that spirit it would be harder for the Clerks and the Councillors (all of whom are volunteers), to achieve results.
From a very small percentage of your Council Tax contributions, it allows us to finance various services that benefit all of us. We work with the County Council to keep the library operating and ensure that The Hagley Community Bus runs to Stourbridge, Kidderminster and Longbridge. We take care of the play equipment on the playing field, employ a ground maintenance team who keep the cemetery and playing fields tidy. We have a litter picker who covers the playing fields, shopper car park and the main shopping street, and of course we continue to look after the street lighting that falls within our remit and manage the allotments for the pleasure of residents. The Pavilion is available for community groups to hire outside of West Hagley FC’s use. Our offices are based in the pavilion and the office hours are 9am - 2pm, Monday - Friday.

Walking Football: There is a local ‘Walking Football’ Team who play at Hagley Playing Fields every Tuesday between 10:30am and 11:30am. All are welcome, so please come along.
Couch to 5k: A new session has started on Fridays’ at 9am. It is a 9-week course, and each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. All are welcome so please come along to Hagley Playing Fields if you wish to join.
