A warm welcome to Mary and Alison, two new members of the PPG, thank you Helen C, who has left the group, for everything that you’ve done.
At last month’s group meeting we had an update from Well Pharmacy as regards staffing as well as the forthcoming changes to services being introduced in Pharmacies, called ‘Pharmacy First Services’ We no longer need to contact the GP for reasons such as minor infections, eye infections, or inset bites and we can just go straight to the pharmacy and be treated there. We are told that Well Pharmacy will be prepared for the official launch later this year.
Our next meeting is with the surgery GP management team.
