Village Ladies

Hello Village Ladies. We were all shocked and saddened to hear that our leader, Sue Billington, passed away in Worcester Hospital on Tuesday 16 January. She will always be remembered and sadly missed by us all.

Our first meeting of 2024 was on 9 January when Colin Millett shared with us ‘A Collector’s Tale of Worcester Porcelain’ and on 23rd we were treated to another, but very different, slice of history when Mary Bodfish returned to Village Ladies with ‘The History of Smethwick’. This month our meetings are on 12th and 26 March.

On 12th, we have the ‘The Wildlife of Chaddesley Woods’ from Gordon Forrest and on 26th we enjoy the return of Chris O’Grady this time with the intriguing title ‘Keep the Sea on your Left, Turn Right at Land’s End’. Who can guess exactly where this will take him?
If you would like to find out more about our group, please ring Anne Poole, 01562 885556 or Ann Pagett, 01562 882692.
